Freedom Chapel International Worship Center

Because of the many lives that were rescued and redeemed through our street rallies, outreaches, Teen Challenge students, their families and individuals from the local community, we realized the need to start a Church in order to continue the discipleship process for those who gave their lives to the Lord. Thus, Freedom Chapel was established in 1992.

In 1996, we purchased a warehouse with a large lot adjacent to it on Route 110 in Amityville, NY. This facility being centrally located on Long Island was a strategic mission for God to establish His Church. In the providence of God, He placed us here with an especially aggressive zeal for outreach and evangelism with the fact that the two least evangelized counties in the United States, are Suffolk and Nassau County (making up all of Long Island) and Route 110 where our Church is located is the dividing highway of Nassau and Suffolk County.

With the growth of our Church and need for a larger facility, we broke ground in 2004 to build a new Sanctuary. With much prayer and long labor pains through the building construction of our Church, Easter Sunday 2009 marked a day of big dreams coming to reality as the new Freedom Chapel International Worship Center opened its doors for the first time to over 1,000 congregants. This new house of worship holds accredited Bible classes, a full scale children’s church, youth ministry, men’s and women’s ministries, Hoop Challenge Basketball Camp, Super Saturday Freedom Kid’s Krusade and Rock the Block Youth Explosion. Teeming with excitement and life, this is truly a Church with no limits! Freedom Chapel has already hosted events such as an Island-wide Greg Laurie pre-crusade concert, an opera/praise concert, an engagement featuring The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers and God4Me Boot Camp with 1,000 men in attendance. Being centrally located on Long Island we have opened our Church to leadership conferences and special events to reach the people of Long Island and New York City. Most importantly, the passion of our Church is to reach the precious lives of families looking for healing, hope and their destiny in Christ.
