Rock The Block

Jimmy Jack Ministries established “Rock the Block” which is a cutting-edge, culturally relevant urban evangelistic street ministry featuring contemporary Gospel music, praise, dance, drama, dynamic testimonies and preaching.

We reach out with the Gospel and share the love of Jesus Christ with the lost and hurting people of this world. This is done through up-and-coming Christian artists, testimonies, choirs, tract distribution, Hoop Challenge Basketball Tournaments, drama, step teams, a community barbeque, powerful speakers, and much more! Our mission is to reach the lost for Jesus Christ and to train Christian workers in front-line urban evangelism on the streets.

Mission teams made up of youth groups, Church teams and construction teams from across the country join us to experience front-line street evangelism and training to bring back to their community and implement this tool to reach their City for Jesus.

Rock the Block is a street festival/concert that sets up staging, lighting, & trussing equipment in a venue that draws multitudes of people from every age group to come and hear our contemporary Gospel music and high energy talent of dance, praise and song. We also bring an entire production company which puts on various ministry/entertainment such as; Freedom Kids Outreach, Hoop Challenge, Community BBQ, and a Concert concluding with a dynamic message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an invitation to receive Him as Lord and Savior.

We target Long Island, New York City, and cities throughout the United States as well as international venues. In 2009, our venue was Nairobi, Kenya and Dar Salaam, Tanzania, East Africa. In 2010, our venue was held in the city of Santiago, Dominican Republic for our fourth city-wide concert/crusade ministering to over 50,000 people of all ages. In 2011, we held a Rock the Block three-day tour in Haiti. We will continue to post updates for future crusades and events.
